Dan was one of the first people in the UK to become a Digital Analytics Association Certified Web Analyst. His contribution to web analytics and conversion optimisation was recognised when he was elected to be come a Fellow of the Institute of Direct Marketing and is a co-Chair of the Digital Council of the Direct Commerce Association.
Dan is an in-demand speaker, blogs regularly on all aspects of analytics, website optimisation and Conversion Rate Optimisation and has spoken at conferences in the UK, Europe and Africa.
Before starting AWA, Dan was a CEO of several successful multichannel retailers, holds a MBA from Bath University and has consulted for companies like Unilever, Walmart and IBM.
The AWA team regularly generates uplifts of between 26% and 107% in revenue per visitor for e-commerce clients. These results were recognised when AWA won Which Test Won’s Best Home Page Split-Test. AWA was also in a finalist in the Optimizely Awards.
Dan has spoken at Internet World, International Search Summit (Germany), Which Test Won Live Event, Direct Commerce Association, Institute of Directors, Ecommerce Show (South Africa). Dan guest blogs on SmartInsight and case studies have been published on Econsultancy.
